The charge for NHS dental care is dependant on what treatment, if any, needs to be done to keep your mouth healthy.
There will only be one charge per course of treatment, this is not dependant on how many visits it takes to the dentist or hygineist.
Band 1 - £22.70
A band 1 course of treatment covers your dental examination, in which care is taken to assess the health of your teeth and your gums, We also screen for oral cancers and check the function of your jaw joint. A scale and polish, fluoride varnish and sealant coatings may also be included in this band, dependant on clinical need.
